Disney’s Boardwalk is one of my favorite places to visit during our vacations. Even if you are not staying at the resort I recommend stopping by. There are several dining options available so you can take a break from the crowds at the parks and relax for a while. The Boardwalk is a short walk from Epcot or you can take a Friendship boat. You can also walk from Hollywood Studios but I would recommend taking the boat. Here is a quick overview of the dining options that are available there.
Flying Fish Cafe The Flying Fish Cafe is one of Disney’s signature restaurants and is only open for dinner. We really enjoyed our visit. The service was outstanding and the food was really great. The menu changes seasonally and they have great vegetarian options as well. Make sure to save room for dessert!
Big River Grille & Brewing Works I’ve never eaten at the Boardwalk location but there is a Big River Grille in my hometown. My husband loves visiting because they are also a Brewery and have a unique selection of beers. Big River Grille is open for lunch and dinner.
Kouzzina by Cat Kora We visited Kouzzina for breakfast and it is still one of the best meals I’ve had at Disney. I’ve also heard great things about dinner.
ESPN Club Sports and food, sounds like a great combo to me! ESPN Club is open for lunch and dinner and offer what you would typically find in a sports bar.
If you don’t want to make a reservation there are still a few options for you. At the Boardwalk Pizza window you can order pizza by the slice or a whole pizza.
The Boardwalk Bakery offers sandwiches and salads as well as variety of dessert options. I recommend grabbing a cupcake! You can also stop by Seashore Sweets to grab an ice cream cone, sundae, or shake. Boardwalk Joe’s offers coffee, drinks and a few snacks and there are other kiosks that serve funnel cakes, hot dogs, popcorn, and few other to go items. You can also stop by Leaping Horse Libations next to the Luna Park pool at the resort or head inside to the Belle Vue Lounge to grab a drink and relax for a while.
